About British TKD Tae Kwon Do
British TKD was formed in December 2006 by Mr Paul Eacock as a non political Tae Kwon Do governing body.
British TKD was originally called the British Tae Kwon Do Association or BTA but was later renewed to British TKD due to copyright.
All licensed BTKD students gain instant international recognition by the Amateur Martial Association (AMA) who have the largest amount of students in the UK. (92,000).
British TKD are also affiliated to the World association of kickboxing organisations (WAKO) who are now Olympic recognised.
British TKD offer all students a solid training structure taught by highly experienced, fully qualified and insured instructors.
Examinations (for those who wish to progress through the belt structure) are regular and performed by the most senior members of British TKD
